An experience with COVID-19 positive pregnant patients at a tertiary care center

Background: The Covid-19 pandemic is a global phenomenon. lockdown imposed by the central and state governments, has also led to restriction of movement patients thus reducing their access antenatal care. Our hospital was officially declared as centre per government directives. been managing positive guidelines. We here present data management COVID-19 pregnant patients.Methods: A retrospective study. All COVID admitted obstetric unit from 23 March 2020 November were analysed. total 96 analysed for complications, complications during delivery, mode delivery neonatal complications.Results: There only one patient with major associated COVID. Most either asymptomatic or had mild symptoms. maternal mortality. out 89 cases required emergency caesarean section. section rate higher in though sections done indications only. Three neonates tested virus. 2 neonate NICU admission.Conclusions: completely unprecedented situation. aim this study demonstrate that effect on women minimal. complications. can be managed effectively proper personal protective equipment adherence
